SHIPPING & RETURNS

Shipping:

  • The speed at which a delivery arrives is solely based on the customer's choice of shipping option at checkout. “Expedited” shipping in Canada, “Tracked Packet USA” in the United States and “Tracked Packet – International” are the best reasonably priced trackable options in our opinion.

Package protection – Lost Parcels:

  • If a customer’s parcel does not arrive you can access your “Route” parcel protection here https://claims.route.com/.
  • Please note that “Route” parcel protection will be added to every order as a default, it will automatically display in the customer's cart. This cost-effective way of protecting the customer and S&J Hardware was implemented for everyone’s financial protection.
  • If the customer did not choose “Route” parcel protection it is the customer's responsibility to accept the consequences of a lost parcel.
  • Only the customer can remove “Route” parcel protection from their cart. Choose wisely!

Returns:

  • To return a product, a customer must let S&J Hardware know that you would like to return a product. The store number is +1 (613) 689 9380 or you can contact the store via our contact form, which you can find here https://sjhardware.com/contact/.
  • It is the customer's responsibility to ship the product back to S&J Hardware. Please use the cheapest Canada Post shipping rate. It is the customer's choice to insure this shipment.
  • S&J Hardware will not accept responsibility for a customer's lost shipment.

Shipping operations:

  • S&J Hardware is open Tuesday through Saturday, excluding holidays determined by common and other freight carriers.
  • Of the days that S&J Hardware is open we can only ship between Tuesday and Friday, there are no pickups from either of our carriers on Saturdays.
  • Standard shipping methods include Canada Post and UPS.
